Jeff Royer is looking for the right customer to commission his first custom cut-n-shoot. This will be a rare style of functional art inspired by antique knife-and-pistol combination pieces, reimagined completely in Jeff’s own style.
This would not be a standard custom knife. It would be a large damascus recurve with a hidden cut-n-shoot element, built with mystery, mechanical detail, fully operational and an unforgettable piece.
Jeff has been designing this project in his head for years. Now he is ready to find the right person to help bring it to life.
From the presentation side, the piece would keep its secret. It would appear first as a large Jeff Royer Damascus Recurve, with a sweeping blade, refined profile and Jeff’s maker’s mark in gold on the side meant to be seen. Nothing about that first view would give away what is hidden within. No obvious mechanism. No giveaway. Just a powerful custom blade with the kind of presence that makes someone lean in closer.
But the secret would be waiting on the reverse side.
Hidden into the opposite side of the knife would be the cut-n-shoot element, designed so the piece does not reveal itself all at once. The trigger and hammer would be built integrally into the design. One side would carry the elegance of a custom damascus blade. The other would reveal the mechanical heart of the piece.
Jeff has never seen another cut-n-shoot quite like the one he has envisioned. He has carried this idea for years, waiting for the right person and the right moment to bring it to life.
This would be Jeff’s first cut-n-shoot and a truly one-of-a-kind commission not just another knife, but a landmark piece in his body of work.
