Chaos: A Santoku Chef Knife

$2,400.00

This knife was forged from the scraps of a hundred stories.

I call it Chaos.

Over the years, I’ve made a lot of knives. And every time I had to trim off a piece of Damascus or cut down some handle material, I couldn’t bring myself to throw it away. Too much beauty. Too much potential. So I kept it all.

Eventually, I looked at the pile and thought: time to make something wild. So I took all that leftover Damascus, every odd-shaped remnant, and I smashed it together under fire and pressure, creating a pattern that’s loud, raw, and full of life. The blade is pure chaos—every line tells a different tale.

The handle’s got the same spirit. It’s made from a mix of cutoffs: stabilized burl, exotic woods, brass, and everything in between. Glued together with industrial-strength epoxy and polished to a high gloss, it’s a mosaic of color and character. No two sides are the same, and that’s the point.

This knife is for someone who sees the beauty in disorder. Who knows that the best things in life aren’t always the neatest. It’s a chef’s knife, sure—but it’s also a reminder that what others see as scraps can become something truly special with enough fire and grit.

If you like your tools with a soul and a story, Chaos might just be your next favorite knife.
